ROMAN MACHINES - Museum Visit

Wow!  What a fabulous experience.  We had so much fun experiencing the machines that were invented and used by the Romans.  

Boulder Bank Trip

As part of our topic in Term 2 we visited the Boulder Bank.  We were learning about Our Place By The Sea.  We walked along the Boulder Bank discovering the treasures it holds.  We observed living and non-living things closely. As we walked we wrote descriptions of the things we saw.  After we had walked for 15 minutes we stopped and did some observational sketches.  On the way back we picked up rubbish that had washed up or dumped on the Boulder.

                                                     The Boulder Bank went on and on.

                                                         Room 9 and 10 went together.
